THE CONSTITUTION FOR IMOLE YORUBA ASSOCIATION.
Introduction.
We the entire member of Imole yoruba Association having solemnly resolve to be in harmony as one indivisible, and to be a guild to the needy & thier problem solvers . Also to provide for an equality and justice constitution for the purpose of worthy philanthropic drive in the yoruba race.
We hereby make and give to ourselves the following Constitution:
GENERAL PROVISION
*1. This constitution is Supreme and it shall have binding force on every member of Imole Yoruba Association.*
*2. Imole Yoruba will neither be govern by any person nor group in control of decision making except in accordance with the provision of this constitution.*
*3. If any act or law is contrary to the provision of this constitution, the said act or law will be null and void.*
CHAPTER ONE
NAME OF THE ASSOCIATION: Shall be called "Imole Yoruba Association".
Section One : MOTTO : IMOLE NI WA.
CHAPTER TWO
*AIMS AND OBJECTIVES.*
a. To foster friendship among members.
c. To undergo philanthropic activities within and outside the yoruba people.
d. To have fame.
CHAPTER THREE
*MEMBERSHIP:*
Members shall be open to anyone subject to the following condition.
a. AGE: the age must be of at least 25years and above.
b. He must be of good character and conduct in and outside the community.
c. Recommendation of (2/3) of the members.
d. He must be mentally sound with criminal free background.
e. Every member shall be addressed as Wishes Respectively.
CHAPTER FOUR
*MEETINGS.*

There shall be two(2) types of meeting which are the General Meeting, Executive Meetings.
SECTION 1:
*GENERAL MEETING.*
(a) General meeting shall be held at the duration of 1 and half hour on Zoom by 2:00pm to 3:30pm every two weeks.
(b) QUORUM:2/3 of the members of this honorable Association shall form a quorum.
(c)Prayers To Be made before and after Every meeting.
(d) The Secretary-General or Vice Secretary shall read out the minute of the past meeting.
All members who comes in after the prayer shall be subjected to a late fine of #2500 and to be paid before the next meeting.
(e) Members Who will not be Available in every meeting is expected to give 24hrs notice or subjected to a fine of #5000.
(f) Meeting agenda shall be placed on the Platform by the P.R.O A day to every meeting days.
(g) All informations is deemed seen By all members once its posted.
SECTION 2:
*EXECUTIVE MEETING.*
Executive meeting shall be held atleast once a month or as necessary.
CHAPTER FIVE
Termination Of Membership:
A person shall cease to be member if:-
a. By death
b. The person voluntary renounce he/her Oath of allegiance.
c. The person ceased to attend meeting for three (3) consecutive times attracts the fine of #10,000 and to be paid within a week. Failure to redeem it shall attracts eviction from the platform.
d. The person is found guilty and convicted for criminal offences within and outside the Association.
*N.B:* All offences mentioned above will be investigated by the Executive Committee and report to the General House for final decision.
CHAPTER SIX
Post Held:
President, Vice-President, Secretary General,Ass.Secretary, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Social Welfare, Public Relation Officer, and Chief Whip.
All officers mentioned above are automatically members of the Executive board by the virtue of their offices.
SECTION 1: Duties Of Officers
*THE PRESIDENT.*
(1) Shall be the first member and head of the Association.
(2) To provide leadership. ...
To ensure the Management Committees functions properly and ensure the organisation is managed effectively.
(3) Shall have a veto power to finalize any matter or matters being argued during meeting.
(4) Shall be prepared to protect the welfare and good name of the Association at all times without practicing sectionalism and nepotism.
(5)Shall be part of signatories to the association account.
(6)Shall oversees every Committee affairs.
*THE VICE PRESIDENT.*
(1) Shall advice and assist the president in his duties and deputize in absence.
(2) Shall perform other duties as may be deemed necessary by the president from time to time.
*THE SECRETARY GENERAL.*
(1) The Secretary-General (SG) is the public face of the organisation and is responsible for its office leadership and giving direction and clarity to the organisation's strategic and policy development.
(2) Shall keep records of meeting proceedings.
(3) Shall realize that the progress of the organisation is solely on his/her effort and esteem him/herself as the pillar of the house.
(4) Shall be able to interpret the policy of the Association to the house.
(5) Shall jointly with the President and Treasurer signed cheque's for withdrawal of money within the limit prescribed by the Executive Committee.
*ASSISTANT SECRETARY*
(1) Shall stand the gap of the Secretary In absentia.
*THE TREASURER.*
(1) Shall be signatory to the issuance of money spent and received.
(2) General financial oversight. Oversee and present budgets, accounts and financial statements to the management committee. ...
(3) Shall collect dues and bank the money within 48 (fourty eight) hours of collection.
(4) Shall jointly with the president and secretary sign cheque's for transactions.
*FINANCIAL SECRETARY.*
(i) Shall keep statutory book of account of the Association.
(ii) Shall gives information based on financial improvement at every meeting.
(iii) Shall issue out vouchers.
(iv) Shall work hand in hand with the treasurer.
*SOCIAL WELFARE.*
(i) Shall be responsible for keeping the organisation house and meeting place ready at all times.
(ii) Shall seek to the welfare of all members.
(iii) Shall formulate policy to aid the members activeness or participation.
*PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER*
(i) Shall be the Public face of the Association & organizers of all the public activities.
(ii) Shall notify members of meeting Days and time through a notice board, text messages or circulars.
(iii) Shall be the custodians of the Association properties.
*THE CHIEF WHIP.*
(I) Shall be Law abiding to the constitutions of the Association.
(2) Shall be the law enforcer of the Association and seen to the orderliness during meetings.
(3) Shall keep records of any offenders during meetings.
(4) Shall identify offending members for appropriate deciplinary measures.
*N.B:* The President Must be Recognized in A Special Way and Executive officers must be respected and honour in any gathering by other floor members.
CHAPTER SEVEN
*VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE:*
A vote of no confidence can be moved against any officer, member or against any committee that may be set up, but can defend self or themselves in the general meeting. If he/she found guilty, he/she can be removed by two-third (2/3) majority of members present.
CHAPTER EIGHT
*DELEGATION OF POWER:*
Any committee can be set up on any matter that may come up and such committee must be helded by any superior executive officer among them.
SECTION 1:
*AUDITING COMMITTEE:*
They are only to audit the account of the Association annually.
They must give a full account of their audit and make recommendations to the house.
They are to comprise of two (2) or three (3) unofficial members.
SECTION 2:
*ELECTION:*
The Association shall meet the following.
(A) Election shall be by open ballot.
(B) Every aspirant must win simple majority of vote cast.

(C) Every person contesting for any post must have been a member for at least Six(6) months.
(D) A financial defaulter would not be allow to vote or voted for.
(E) Lack of punctuality to meeting may disqualify member from contesting election.
SECTION 3:
*ELECTION OF OFFICERS.*
(i) Election of officers shall be conducted every two(2)years and all out going officers shall present their account of stewardship to the Association before election takes place.
(ii) The Association election shall always hold in the month of October while Two weeks to the election is considered the campaign period.
(iii) The prudent term of office is two(2) be it consecutively or in a splitted term.
(iv) a. Any elected officer who win during the election and was found guilty of gross misconduct or any criminal act which is verify by committee set up by the forum shall not be swear in during the inauguration.
b. If the misconduct or criminal act was detected after swearing in, this may pave way for impeachment by the General House.
SECTION 4:
*ELECTORAL FEE.*
1. President =#20,000.
2. Vice President =#15,000.
3. Secretary General =#10,000.
4. Assistant Secretary=#10,000.
5. Financial Secretary =#10,000.
6. Chief Whip =#10,000
7. Public Relation Officer =#10,000.
8. Treasurer =#10,000.
9. Social welfare =#10,000.
CHAPTER NINE
*PENALTY FOR OFFENCES:*
For every wrong committed, there will be a penalty for such offences.
SECTION 1:
*MEETING DISTRACTION.*
The sum of #2000 will be paid by any person who is found guilty by the chief whip or coordinator in charge of the meeting & such money must be paid on or before the next meeting.
SECTION 2:
*ANNOYANCE*
Any member whom out of annoyance speak abusive language to another member in the meeting shall be fine the sum of #50,000 which must be paid a week after the meeting failure to pay attracts a month suspension and still pay.
CHAPTER TEN
*FINANCE:*
The Association source of finance shall be from:
(a) *MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE:*
Every member must pay the sum of #5000 as monthly subscription fee, failure to redeem your payment attracts 20% within the month& after 3consecutive month the sanction attracts eviction from the platform.
(b) *FINE IMPOSE ON MEMBERS:*
All money realize from fine impositions shall be a source of finance to the forum.
(c) *DONATIONS*
Voluntary Donations and gift funds is also another source of finance to the Association.
SECTION 1:
*BANKING*
The Association shall maintain a Cooperate account with an approved bank and the President shall be signatory together with the treasurer and secretary.
CHAPTER ELEVEN
*ONLINE AND OFFLINE PROGRAMS*
This Association sees the social media live streaming and live programs to capture her audience and also to gain media traffic, also to accomplish her Aims and objectives to be known and be heard all over the world.
So, embarked on the following,
(1) Weekly live Facebook Programs-It's compulsorily expected of every members to be a guest on the program as thier names appears on the timetable.
*Failure for any member not to grace the program subject he/she to #5,000 fine i.e.*
*Else 24hrs notice/excuse to the time have been tendered*
(2) Whatsapp offline enlightment program where individual member comes with a topic and teach it for a week just according to the timetable.
*All defaulter on this are aswell subject to fine of #5,000. Else 24hrs notice to have been formally given*
(3) All members that aren't the guest for the Facebook weekly Giveaway program are all expected to Compulsorily be on the audience desk and supporting the Anchor and Guest by their reactions through typing,pressing the likes and love buttons,and also sharing the live program to all available social media handles or groups known to them.
N:B; *All above sactions still subject to the President setup committee members final decisions.*
CHAPTER TWELVE
AMENDMENT & ADDENDUM
SECTION 1:
*AMENDMENT*
It is important to note that all the foregoing provision of this constitution in subject to ammendent Every two(2yrs).
SECTION 2:
*ADDENDUM*
The Association shall use her own decisions or discretion in any matters or Situations which is/are not in the constitution through The President setup Committee.
